awful experience as detailed in my
email of today. convenient that i’ve received a
request to rate my experience the same day i’ve sent an email!
Worse experience of my life, treated in a hall way, waited for hours. After 48 hours Then discharged drugged up and left alone outside costa coffee until someone could collect me. Staff talking about you showing no respect for that you are unwell and incapable of doing things for yourself and disbelieving you. Luckily late in the night a senior consultant examined me and sent me for an MRA which confirmed what I had been telling them. I am now seeking private care as all the hospital can give you is pain relief. Queens is by far the worse hospital I have ever known.
Totally from ambulance crew, treatment and discharge my treatment and care were impeccable. Constant informative communication and treatment. Follow-up phone call helpful and informative.
Thank you Queen’s A&E
I had to discuss my symptoms in front of seven other people who where in the same cubicle, absolutely disgusted with the place, I had an ECG sitting on a little plastic chair with arguing going on next to the curtain. It all reminded me of what I've seen on TV in a war torn country .
My mum of 80 with severe dementia was admitted and sat in a corridor for 48 hours absolutely disgusting she was so confused and agitated. Also how can it be that mum could not have her usual medication because it can only be prescribed when she’s on a ward ? So for 2 days she’s without her usual meds
Because I recovered myself
Queens hospital all Doctors and Other staff are very helpful
Thanks NHS
It was awful in A&E, everyone hearded together, people laying on the floor in pain, being sick or with epilepsy and frightened of falling. Queues of patients laying on beds in corridors, no wheelchairs, no care, waiting hours and hours to see doctors, not enough nurses to care for the amount of sick and distressed people. All us sick people, sitting in uncomfortable chairs for over 24 hours, feeling desperate and afraid. Truely shocking, horrific! I don’t blame the staff, it was the overcrowding, worse than a third world country. It’s disgraceful that the a&e departments are shutting down and the hubs and doctors can’t see anyone for at least a week. This can’t go on, your killing peoples through lack of care.
They didn’t care about me. I was in pain and bleeding like a slaughtered animal because of a miscarriage and no one saw me until after 3 hrs. I kept changing my pad and asking when is someone going to see me. All they said was soon. The clinician then took my pressure and then ask for 4 vials of blood and when I refused to give blood for fear of passing out then put me to wait for another 2hrs so I left the same way I went in.
Queens hospital was the worse when it comes to A&E department
I waited over 26hour, in that time I was left for 8hours on a bed in a corridor. I was them moved to a chair where I stayed until I was moved to a ward. I wasn’t offered any food or drink and when asked I was told I could get water out of the tap and food was only for those that pre order (next time I have a stroke I’ll make sure I’ll plan ahead and order food) I saw multiply drs as shifts changed and had to repeat everything over again to the dr. The nurses on duty had so much work to do and had no idea when we was going to be seen or able to offer any help. I waited 5 hours until I received any pain relief after asking for some. It was an absolute shambles. It took 2days to have a ct scan after I was referred.
Asked for my discharge papers and had to remind them 3hrs later
